Hope you don’t like to buy stuff. You know, the number #1 problem facing poor people in the america is buying stuff. Poor people just buy too much stuff. You can’t save any money if you keep buying stuff all the time. Well guess what? My beautiful tariff plan is solving all of these problems. Did I ever say how beautiful word tariffs are? It is such a nice word. Like it conjures up in my mind money flowing from other countries into ours. It is like a tax on other countries, not the people of the america. Soon, that won’t matter because my tariffs are solving the problem of poors buying stuff. Now they will be able to save their money just like the rich people do.
First I want to talk about the Columbus Day. You know there was big news about how I was bringing Columbus Day back. SMOKESCREEN! Anytime there is some kind of bad news about me. Falling approval numbers, markets crashing, shitting my pants I just pull out an executive order with some nonsense about something not important and use that to cover whatever bad news there is about me. You know, that guy who invented the america that I love so much that I became president 2 times. That country. Well it was discovered by this guy back in the olden days, Columbus. You know he was originally looking for india for some reason? Like why would anyone look for that shithole country? Like did he not know how big of a shithole india is? So he took like 3 ships and sailed to find the india, still unclear why? But guess what? Instead he found the america! A wide open undiscovered country with no one living in it. Empty and wide open spaces ripe for rich white people to move in and start developing. And guess what? That is exactly what happened. Now we have the america. For some reason we used to celebrate Columbus Day, but now we don’t? I don’t understand why we don’t and things I don’t understand make me angry! So to make me less angry I am making Columbus Day a thing again. Make Columbus Day Great Again or MCGA.
So back to my original point. Hope you don’t like to buy stuff because that is what is happening. Incoming traffic to all of the major ports are down like 40% or more. Like for instance, using the free maritime tracking available on these computers now you can look for yourself and see how many container ships are coming in. And the answer is not a whole lot. Like the Port of Los Angeles, a hotbed of illegal immigrants I might add, is showing that they only have like 30 ships scheduled to arrive over the next 30 days. That is like 1 ship per day. This has ripple effects all down the line too. All predicted under Trumpflation so that means that it is good. So like less product hits the ports, so it takes less workers to offload them and with less product we need less truck drivers to get that product to where it needs to go. And where do they go? Warehouses! Less product going to a warehouse means that you need less people to put that stuff up and send it out. You know, companies are going to have to start cutting hours or jobs or even both to make a profit. With less product hitting the shelves that means that old fashioned term SUPPLY and DEPENDS kicks in because if there is less supply then demand goes up and that causes the prices to rise higher and higher. But that doesn’t matter, because by the time that happens everything will have sold out and there won’t even be anything to buy. So all you poors out there, save your money it will be mostly worthless soon anyway.
